One gesture and your Galaxy S26 will find everything at once

On February 25, 2026, the official presentation of the long-awaited new flagship Samsung smartphones took place in San Francisco. Models Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+ and Galaxy S26 Ultra in terms of hardware, they differ little from their predecessors, introducing new processors and a few other smaller or larger changes. A bigger “revolution” took place in the software, thanks to the final version of the overlay OneUI 8.5.

The Korean manufacturer placed great emphasis on… artificial intelligenceintroducing completely new functions or improving existing ones. One of them is “Circle to search with Google”that is, exactly “Select to search”.

With an improved version of the “Mark to Search” feature, users can now highlight entire photos to get information about everything visible in them. The system can identify, for example, several different animal species in one photo or all pieces of clothing visible on the person in the photo. The tool not only gives the names of the items, but also displays them related images and links to additional data.

The novelty is expected to be particularly useful when shopping for clothes. Instead of focusing on one element, the system breaks the entire outfit into parts, finding similar clothes, shoes and accessories online. This allows you to complete sets of clothes faster without having to search for each detail separately.

Google has also integrated the feature with virtual fitting room. It allows you to check how a given product looks on your body directly from the visual search or Lens level. This solution is currently available in selected countries, among others in the USA, Great Britain, Canada and Japan.

The model is responsible for the operation of the new version of the tool Gemini 3. It uses the technique of dividing visual queries into smaller fragments, which allows for the implementation of a multi-stage search plan. Artificial intelligence automatically identifies key image elements and performs multiple processes at once to provide a summary of information about each selected item.

The improved function is now available to owners of smartphones from the series Samsung Galaxy S26 and Google Pixel 10. In the near future, the solution will be available on additional devices running Android.
