Motorola with a new hit up to PLN 1,500. It’s better than we thought
Motorola Edge 70 Fusion is slowly revealing more cards before its official premiere. After earlier renderings and marketing materials published by Evan Blass, new graphics have appeared on the Internet, which dispelled some doubts about the specifications.
The most important information is confirmation of the SoC unit used. The smartphone will be launched with the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 system, not the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3, as one of the specification cards previously suggested. So we get a year newer 4nm chip, with a slightly faster processor and higher performance. What’s more, the same system was previously found in the higher-positioned Motorola Edge 70. It is also known that the phone will offer 12 GB of RAM, although a variant with 8 GB will also be available for sale. The whole should provide good performance in basic applications.
Reports also indicate that the Edge 70 Fusion is equipped with a 6.78-inch OLED panel with quad-curved edges, 144 Hz refresh rate and Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection. The maximum peak brightness is to reach up to 5,200 nits.
Other previously revealed parameters include a 50 Mpix main camera with a Sony LYTIA sensor, a 32 Mpix front camera and a huge 7,000 mAh battery with 68 W charging.
The Edge 70 Fusion housing has IP68 and IP69 certificates, it also meets the requirements of MIL-STD-810H military tests, and despite such a large battery, the smartphone is supposed to be very slim. Motorola has prepared the device in five color versions called Blue Surf, Country Air, Orient Blue, Sporting Green and Silhouette. The device is expected to go on sale with Android 16.
All in all, it promises to be a model not much worse than the Edge 70, and in some respects even more attractive. Edge 70 Fusion should be available in the segment of phones up to PLN 1,500.
