New ID cards on your smartphone
The first news is Identity card for a person with a disability. This document makes life easier for young users with a certificate. Students can now confirm their status via phone. This allows for quick proof of the right to reliefs and discounts.
The second solution implemented is Discounted Transport Services Card. This option has been created for children and young people from families of railway workers. The digital version of the document entitles you to discounts on train travel. It works on the same principles as a traditional plastic card.
Simple operation of virtual documents
Adding new ID cards to the system is very simple. This process requires just a few clicks on the screen. The student must find the permissions in the list of available documents. Then just press the “Add” button. This option is located in the upper right corner on the main application screen.
The development of mObywatel Junior is a step towards modern public services – those that really make life easier for the youngest and their parents. Thanks to the new documents, everyday matters can be handled faster, more conveniently and without the need to nervously search for a plastic card in a backpack.
Five functions for students in one place
App mCitizen Junior debuted in September 2025. Initially, it only allowed adding a digital one School ID card. In February this year, further solutions were introduced to the system. She was it Large Family Card and Provisional driving license. The latter document allows you to drive vehicles immediately after passing the exam.
Currently, you can have it in mObywatel Junior five digital documents. The application facilitates almost five million students in Poland. Adding each certificate takes just a moment. It can also be easily updated or removed if necessary.
An important rule when updating data
The Ministry of Digitization draws attention to an important technical detail. The main document in the application is still the School ID card. Updating it often requires rescanning the school’s QR code.
In such a situation, the system behaves in a strictly defined way. The user must add all additional documents again. This applies to the Large Family Card and the Temporary Driving License, as well as new ID cards.
