Free cell phone? You don’t have to mess around, it’s simple

At the end of last year you could read on the Telepolis website that Revolut launches telecommunications services. The information was not a total surprise, because the Revolut Mobile pilot started last summer. Customers in Poland could then sign up for a list of people willing to check out the new service. When this possibility occurred, groans of disappointment could be heard. At least this is the impression you get when reading your comments regarding Revolut Mobile. That’s why we asked a company representative to convince us to buy this product.

Revolut Mobile for free. How to do it?

The answer was provided by Stefan Bogucki, who represents the company in our country. The manager informed us that I have personally been using Revolut Mobile since December. He tested the service both in Poland and abroad (still in the European Union). What conclusions?

Everyone has a different point of view, for me the big advantage is flexibility, you don’t have to sign a contract for a year, you pay per month, the subscription can be paid with RevPoints points

– said the Revolut manager.

Bogucki himself used RevPoints: he paid for the subscription with points and as a result it became “free”. Some people will probably ask: what are RevPoints? Let me explain.

We are talking about a loyalty program that began to be made available in Poland last summer. The solution can be activated on all Revolut plans (also in the free Standard). It consists in awarding points for fintech card transactions. The latter can be exchanged in the Revolut app, among others. for airline miles, public transport tickets in selected cities, discounts on hotel accommodation and local attractions. You can also pay for the mentioned subscription this way. You can learn more about the conditions and bonuses of the RevPoints program in this text.

Fintech collects customer opinions. Revolut Mobile will evolve

The manager also mentioned the advantages of Revolut Mobile, among others: free VPN – this may be of interest to people who value security and privacy. You can also take care of the latter thanks to: separate numbers. This applies to people e.g. running a business – they may have a separate number for co-workers or business partners, and a different one for relatives and friends.

Stefan Bogucki emphasized that Revolut Mobile began to be made available in Poland at the end of last year. This process is still ongoingso not everyone who wants to have access to the service has yet. The service is in the pilot phase, which means, among other things, that: the company collects customer suggestionsto refine the product. Therefore, we are not talking about the final version of the service. It is worth noting here that Poland is one of two markets where Revolut is testing the solution. The second one is Great Britain, but the offer there is different due to cooperation with another entity.

When raising the topic of Revolut Mobile, we should of course ask about the problem we reported at the beginning of this year. Well, it turned out that there is no Wi-Fi Calling function in Polish service plans. I would like to remind you that the service is local: it includes unlimited calls and text messages in Poland and roaming in the European Economic Area. This means that after leaving the zone, voice services, text messages and data transmission will stop working.
What does the company representative say about this? He stated that the company listens to the voices of customers and it cannot be ruled out the solution will evolve.

More and more Blik in Revolut

Finally, some information about using Blik in the Revolut application. How popular is this tool? Payments with Blik codes appeared in the app at the end of 2024. Since then the service was activated by over 2 million customers. It is worth adding here that approximately 5 million people use fintech solutions in Poland.

In turn, the company made transfers to the Blik phone available to customers at the end of 2025. The fintech representative said that since then The service was transferred to the Revolut application by nearly 300,000 customers. Both of these features are said to be gaining popularity. In total, fintech customers have already made over 50 million transactions with the help of Blik. Their value reaches billions of zlotys. Interestingly, last fall the counter showed 30 million transactions, so it can be assumed that the phone transfer service did its job and increased the result. How to run it? You will find out from this text.
