Thanks to this, the watch even after a trip to difficult terrain, after contact with mud or sand, it will look like new. I already have several watches, including typical outdoor watches, which got scratched badly due to sand, mud or simply while wearing them “who knows when” – so I know that the DLC coating is a valuable addition.

Sapphire is one of the hardest minerals on Earth, and glass made from its synthetic variety is distinguished not only by mechanical and temperature resistance, but also high transparency and low susceptibility to reflections. As a whole, the Huawei Watch 4 Pro Space Edition delivers dust and water resistance according to the IP68 standard – so it is fully protected against dust and to a high degree against immersion. Thanks to waterproofness 5 ATM the watch is also suitable for swimming, and the EN 13319 certificate guarantees failure-free diving to a depth of up to 30 meters.

Everything is done directly on the watch – the current map is displayed on the screen, you can search for or indicate a destination and navigate to this place turn by turn.

However, you must remember that Petal Maps downloads all data from the network, so it is a good option during trips when the watch is within mobile range. In this case an additional convenience is the eSIM function, which allows you to use Huawei Watch 4 Pro Space Edition regardless of the paired smartphone. Thanks to the virtual SIM card, you can make phone calls, send messages, and more use data transmissioneven when the phone's battery has already died.

The 780 mAh battery provides 4.5 days of work with full functionality. My tests of the Huawei Watch 4 Pro Space Edition while hiking in the mountains showed that the watch will last the whole day with several hours of GPS activity recording. If this is not enough, you can choose ultra-saving modewhich extends the operation of the device up to 21 days. Some functions are then unavailable, but you can still monitor your body condition and sports activities.
