This feature is currently active in nearly 40% of all applications registered in the system. Users most often withdraw this way average PLN 140. The maximum withdrawal limit can be up to PLN 1,000depending on the regulations of a given bank.

The payments market shows very clearly that users today expect services that combine different needs in one simple experience. Cashback fits this direction because it allows you to combine payment with access to cash when the customer is already making his daily purchases. Today, this option can be used by a large number of BLIK users, and our goal for the coming quarters is to consistently increase the availability of the service in banks and retail chains, so that the base of people with access to cashback grows systematically, and the cash withdrawal itself is as intuitive as other BLIK functions.

Response to ATM limits

The increase in interest in the cashback service is due to: changes in the banking market. Operators of traditional machines introduce new limits for one-time withdrawals. At the same time, the number of devices in smaller towns is systematically decreasing.

Withdrawal at the payment terminal allows you to avoid these difficulties. You can withdraw money when doing your daily grocery shopping or visiting a media lounge. The system allows payment of non-standard amountswhich facilitates settlements in everyday situations.

In practice, users rarely need “round” amounts. Sometimes it’s PLN 150 or 200, and sometimes they want to pay as much as required by a specific situation – such as PLN 260 for tutoring or PLN 31.40 for pet care. The advantage of cashback in PolCard terminals is that it relieves consumers of the need for logistics and searching for a machine. Thanks to the constantly growing scale of the network, withdrawing cash is no longer a separate task to be planned, but becomes a natural move while shopping. The store in the estate takes over the role of an ATM, giving you complete freedom to withdraw exactly the amount you need at a given moment.

Where can I use the service?

The solution can be used by clients of five large financial institutions. These are Bank Millennium, Bank Pekao, VeloBank, Santander Bank Polska and Alior Bank. They were the first to implement it full integration with the store payment system.

The list of retail outlets is also growing. Cash can be withdrawn, among others, on networks Frog, Dino, Net, Empik and Media Markt. Fiserv Polska, the owner of the PolCard brand, is responsible for the technological support of the entire process.
