The new installment of the popular series will hit the Netflix library on February 19, 2026, so there is still time for those who somehow missed this piece of action cinema to catch up and watch seasons 1 and 2.

Gabriel Basso, who is the series’ hallmark as Peter Sutherland, will return to play the title role for the third time. It must be admitted that he rose to the top of popularity completely unexpectedly (the series became one of the biggest unexpected hits of 2023) and now we can’t imagine anyone else playing the role of “The Night Agent”.

The trailer actually gives us an idea of ​​the entire third series. It is packed with action almost to the limit (exploding plane, chases, interrogations) and also introduces us to new characters. And so, Jennifer Morrison (“Once Upon a Time”) will play first lady Jenny Hagan, and the charming Genesis Rodriguez (“Lioness”) will play the role of a journalist. And no, the popular character Rose will not return this time, but it is said that Rodriguez is to be her worthy successor. In addition to the names mentioned, we will also see Stephen Moyer, known from “True Blood”.

This time, the action of the series will take us on an unexpected journey to various international locations, including: Istanbul, Mexico, Washington and New York. Peter’s new task will be to track down a young tax agent who escaped there after killing his boss. Peter will have quite a task – he will be forced to investigate a dark financial network and at the same time he will have to escape from paid killers. Throughout the case, various secrets will come to light and old grudges will be revived, which will threaten not only the hero, but also the entire government machine.
