Beware of emails that urgently ask you to confirm your identity.

Bank Millennium appeals.

These types of messages have only one purpose – extorting confidential data. In e-mails, cybercriminals impersonate Bank Millennium, using its logo and graphic design. The tone of the message is also more official (bank-style), but also urgent, suggesting that the recipient’s account is at risk.

All this to arouse fear in the recipient of such a message and thus convince him to click on the link.

explains the bank in a statement.

And as for the link? – it is known that it directs you to a website where criminals extort personal and financial data. Better to ignore him.

Bank Millennium – how to protect yourself against fraud?

Bank Millennium reminds that its employees never send this type of messages to absolutely anyone and calls for increased caution. There is only one recommendation – do not click on links contained in suspicious e-mails. And if we receive this type of e-mail, it is best to contact the bank to clarify the whole matter. The bank recommends a special telephone number for contact: 22 598 44 44.
