InPost Group has started beta testing of the updated InPost Mobile application. The main change is the built-in AI shopping assistant. The system allows you to search for goods, compare offers and pay for the order without leaving the program. The entire process was integrated with the InPost Pay service. Customers additionally receive free deliveries and returns as part of the InPost Plus package.

A virtual dog named Von Halsky became the guide to the new interface. The user can enter or dictate his needs. The assistant analyzes the query and displays a carousel of matching products. During the official presentation, an example coffee purchasing process was shown. It took less than a minute. The system remembers the previously defined favorite Parcel Locker and preferred payment method. Placing an order only requires confirmation.

No more tedious searching

InPost plans to facilitate shopping for 16 million active users of its application. The company’s representatives indicate that they want to be present at the very beginning of the customer’s purchasing path.

Commission-free offer for sellers

The new function is also a tool for online store owners. InPost provides them with an additional sales channel. The company’s representatives clearly emphasize that the new solution is not a marketplace platform. InPost does not charge sellers commission for completed transactions. This allows stores to maintain full control over the margins imposed.

Over 4,000 sellers have already joined the program. These include networks such as RTV Euro AGD, X-Kom, Komputronik, Modivo and Super-Pharm. The database includes goods from many well-known brands, including Apple, Samsung, Lego and Karcher.

The new feature is currently in closed beta testing. Access to it is available to a narrow group of trusted customers. Their opinions will be used to make corrections before the assistant is finally launched on the market.
