The series “Something Terrible Will Happen Here” is the work of the creators of the cult “Stranger Things”, so we are guaranteed that it will be dark and addictive. The Duffer Brothers, who are the producers, are back in full force and will hopefully produce another hit for us.

For us Poles, valuable information is also the fact that our compatriot Weronika Tofilska is responsible for directing as many as four episodes. And when it comes to building tension and thickening the atmosphere, it is said to be unrivaled. All this makes you want to watch the first episode. Especially if we take into account the fact that Tofilska previously worked on the series “Renideer”. Those who watched it know what I’m talking about, and if someone somehow missed this series, they have a unique opportunity to catch up. The series is also available on Netflix.

“Something terrible is going to happen here”, i.e. a disaster is around the corner

Viewers expect an atmosphere of horror and chills. The plot is welcome in this type of production, but not the most important thing. What matters is the atmosphere and tension. The series takes place a week before the wedding day. At the center of events we have the bride and the groom. Each day changes the meaning of their relationship and affects the preparations for the ceremony. The series is intended to build tension and gradually create an atmosphere of paranoia, which suggests that the titular catastrophe is about to happen.

The bride is played by Camila Morrone, and the role of her groom will be played by Adam DiMarco (“The White Lotus”).
