A keyboard like you’ve never had before. Your hands will thank you
JezailFunder Studio started on Kickstarter with Jiffy 75 keyboard. It is an ergonomic, mechanical design of 75%, which puts the first thing comfort of work. Unlike more experimental keyboards of this type, the manufacturer used a familiar key layout, retaining, among other things, standard navigation section position.
The pre-sale price is approximately PLN 815
The two separate parts can be positioned wider, in line with the shoulders, which reduces the need to unnaturally bend the wrists inward. The space between the modules also allows you to conveniently fit, for example, a tablet, notebook or trackpad. The manufacturer therefore targets people who write a lot and are looking for a more convenient alternative to the standard keyboard.
The housing is made of anodized aluminum. The manufacturer has also developed its own quiet switches with a pressing force of 37 gwhich are intended to reduce noise while maintaining a noticeable click. There are also two potentiometers on board and Jzf Hub key remapping software. Keyboard supports Bluetooth and 2.4 GHz connectivityand each half has its own battery. The working time is up to 2 months.
The set will include a shock-resistant transport case. The project has already raised over $140,000 on Kickstarter, and the price for backers starts at $219 (approximately PLN 815), however, the suggested price was set at $249 (approx. PLN 925).
For wooden supports you have to pay extra $99 (approx. PLN 369). The manufacturer expects shipments to start in May, but as always with crowdfunding, you have to remember about the risk, especially since this is the company’s first campaign.
