iPhone 17e officially. This change is particularly important

This time we will have three colors to choose from. Classic black and white, complemented by delicate pink. However, it is not the new color variant that is most important here, but the presence of MagSafe with Qi2 speed, i.e. 15 W. It will also allow for magnetic connection with numerous accessories. Additionally, Apple decided to use its own C1X modem.

Just like in its predecessor, there is a 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR screen. Thus, the iPhone 17e will offer the smallest display of the entire 17th generation. The heart of the device is the Apple A19 chip. However, contrary to appearances, it is not the same as in the iPhone 17. This is because it has not a five-core, but a quad-core graphics system with an integrated NPU.

The battery is also said to be weaker than the basic model, although Apple, as usual, did not provide a specific value, but the battery is about 15% smaller. The front camera, contrary to rumors, is still 12 Mpix. At the back, however, we still find a single, 48 Mpix lens.

When it comes to memory, Apple did not boast about the amount of RAM, but the declared support for Apple Intelligence quite clearly indicates 8 GB of RAM. The smartphone will be available in two storage variants: 256 GB for $599 and 512 GB for $799. Polish prices are respectively PLN 2,999 and PLN 3,999. The iPhone 17e will be available for pre-sale only tomorrow, on March 3, and will appear in stores only on March 11.
