The most praised series recently. There’s one last episode left

The whole thing has six episodes and on Monday we watched the fifth episode, which was titled “In the Name of the Mother” and was the climax of the whole story (it presented the battle and difficult threads from the hero’s past). After its premiere, the media went viral – it was hailed as the best episode of the entire series. The episode debuted on IMDb with a perfect score of 10/10 – which was considered an unprecedented event.

Rotten Tomatoes has as many as 95% positive reviews, and the series itself is currently in second place on the list of the most popular series in global streaming. It was only overtaken by “Wonder Man” from Disney+. All this means that there is currently no more praised series in Poland and in the world. And since the production consists of only six episodes, which are shown on HBO Max every week, it looks like the grand finale is waiting for us on February 23.

The only exception was the broadcast of episode number 4, which, due to the Super Bowl final in the USA, was moved to Friday, i.e. three days earlier.

Perhaps not everyone knows that on Monday, January 19, at 8 p.m., Helios cinemas broadcast the premiere episode of “A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms” for free. It was the same day as the Polish premiere of the series on HBO.

The producers decided to extend it for a second season. It is expected to appear in 2027.
