Are you using Chrome on your computer? A strange change is coming
Chrome is the most popular browser in the world. According to statcounter statistics, it is used by over 71 percent. users in the world, and in the case of computers even more than 76 percent. Soon the latter will be able to run it when the system starts.
At this point you may hold your head and ask: but how? After all, you can now turn on Google Chrome when the system starts. The thing is that it currently runs the browser in the background and does nothing else (except maybe notifications, etc.). The new option that appeared in the test version of Canary is something else.
There is a new function in the browser that allows you to launch Chrome at system startup. However, in this case, after turning on the computer, we will immediately see an open window, ready to work. Importantly, the function is disabled by default, so if it is included in the stable version of the application, you will need to activate it manually.
Why launch a browser window when the system starts? This may be a sensible option for many people. Let’s face it – the browser is probably the most frequently and intensively used application on computers. In most cases, it is the first thing we turn on after starting the PC. We will soon be able to automate this.
