A million Poles did not apply for money. The chance will soon be gone
Is it possible that Poles don’t want money? It turns out that as many as one million eligible people have not yet applied for an energy voucher. And the chance for a subsidy will disappear irrevocably at the end of the month.
Applications for energy vouchers are selling like hotcakes. No wonder, they are widely promoted and can also be submitted without leaving home, via the mObywatel application. How many applications have been submitted? When is the deadline for submission?
By mid-September, 2 million applications for energy vouchers were submitted for a total amount of PLN 2 billion.

One million people have not yet filed their applications
It turned out that not everyone had submitted their applications yet. It was assumed that there would be 3.5 million beneficiaries, but as many as one million people entitled to this discount have not yet applied. It’s worth taking an interest in this, because there’s only one week left to submit them. There’s one week left to make a decision. You can apply until September 30. And it’s worth taking care of it, because you can get up to 1200 zlotys.
Energy voucher – until September 30
Data from the Ministry of Climate and Environment show that another million people should apply for an energy voucher. This benefit was created to help people with lower incomes, while higher electricity tariffs have been in effect since July 1. It is a one-time cash benefit for households with lower incomes. Depending on the household’s situation, the additional payment can amount to PLN 600-1200.
