PKO Bank Polski doubles the limit. Now you can buy more

PKO Bank Polski has introduced an important change to the service PKO I pay later. Now you can receive up to PLN 2,000 in this way, which is twice as much as before. So far 226 thousand of the bank's customers made purchases worth a total of PLN 494 million using the service.

PKO I pay later is a service thanks to which you can shop online or in a stationary store that supports BLIK or Pay with iPKO, paying for it only after 30 days. Repayments can be automatic, with each payment increasing your available balance. That's what it has been so far PLN 1,000. From now on, however, the maximum purchase amount using PKO Płają later is increased to PLN 2,000. The granted limit, of course, depends on the creditworthiness of a given customer.

New customers will receive a limit when activating the service. They can activate PKO Płałam later on the website or in the mobile application. In such a case, all data fields are filled in automatically, and the customer only needs to accept the necessary consents, submit the application and confirm activation. This can also be done during a conversation with a consultant on the hotline or at any bank branch.

Customers who already use PKO Pay Later, the most convenient way they can apply for an increase in the limit in the IKO application: My products > PKO I pay later > menu on the right (3 dots) > Increase the limit to be used, or on the iPKO website: My products > PKO I pay later > menu on the right (3 dots) > Increase the limit to be used. You can also submit an application for a new PKO Pay later limit on the hotline and at a bank branch.

Some statistics

The PKO Płatę later service was launched a year and a half ago. So far it has activated it 226 thousand people. The total amount of limits granted to them is PLN 184 millionand the average active limit is currently PLN 816 per person. What customers have done with the service since its inception 3.6 million transactions for the amount of PLN 494 million. 60% of transactions with PKO Pay Later is online paymentsand the average shopping basket is 138 PLN.


The solution is available in all stores accepting BLIK (online and stationary) and in online stores when choosing the payment method Płakę z iPKO (pay-by-link). The customer has 30 days to repay – he can do it himself or wait for automatic settlement. A transaction unpaid after 30 days becomes so-called overdue debt – from that moment on, the customer cannot use PKO Płają later, but when the repayment is made, the service will start working automatically again. From overdue debt the bank calculates and collects statutory interest for delay. At the same time, in the application and website, the customer can check: the amount to be used and to be repaid within the granted limit, the list of transactions repaid and to be repaid and the date of the next repayment, and can also download confirmation of the transaction when its amount is recorded.
