The series about everyone's favorite murderer, Dexter Morgan, returns to the Showtime platform. This time, as a prequel, telling the story of the hero from his youth.
“Dexter” first aired in 2006 and is already considered an all-time classic. Admired by both fans and critics. It is worth adding that several seasons received a score of 96% on Rotten Tomatoes.
New Dexter, or Origin Sin
The new series will appear under the mysterious title “Dexter: Origin Sin”. It is also known that Michael C. Hall will be replaced by another actor as Dexter.
The trailer for this production has not been released yet, but it has already appeared first information about the cast. He will play young Dexter Patrick Gibsonand in the figure of his father – Christian Slater. The action of the series will take us back to the early 1990s, 15 years before the events of the TV series “Dexter”.
Filming is scheduled to start on June 6. The first episode is broadcast projected for summer 2025.
