The wait is over! OLED monitors are finally entering the home and will be available even to ordinary people. The new Philips model proves this.

OLED it is a technology that many people, not only enthusiasts, are waiting to be popularized. This is hardly surprising when monitors with these screens are definitely better than classic IPS, VA or TN. We are talking about much more vivid colors, truly deep blacks and extremely low response times.

The suggested price in Poland is PLN 4,256

Unfortunately, so far it has been reserved mainly for more expensive devices. Reason? High production cost. However, this is changing, and OLED is finding its way into an increasingly wider range of products. Today we will focus on the company's huge proposition Philipswhich will debut on the market as part of the gaming brand Evnia.

Philips Evnia 49M2C8900L it curved (1800R), 49-inch ultrawide monitor aimed at gamers. We are dealing here with a matrix QD OLED about resolution 5120 x 1400 pixelsrefresh rate up to 144 Hz and reaction time 0.03 milliseconds.

Maximum brightness up to 1000 cd/m2 and covering the color palette in 153.1% for the sRGB palette and 125.2% for Adobe RGB allows you to support for HDR materials. This is complemented by certificates such as HDR TrueBlack 400 or VESA ClearMR 8000. The icing on the cake is Ambilgow backlight increasing immersion in games and movies.

The user gets two HDMI 2.0 ports, one DisplayPort 1.4, a USB HUB and USB Type C with image transfer function and fast charging up to 90 W. There was also plenty KVM switch. All this allows you to connect your laptop to the monitor with one cable. Is also built-in 30 W speaker.

Philips Evnia 49M2C8900L will go on sale at the end of the month. The suggested price in Poland is PLN 4,256which seems to be a very fair amount for such specifications and capabilities.
