ZX Spectrum returns in a new version. The Spectrum now in stores
The Spectrum retro console, a modern incarnation of the iconic 8-bit ZX Spectrum computer, has entered stores in Poland.

ZX Spectrum is an iconic, 8-bit home computerwhich gained enormous popularity in the early 1980s, also in Poland, starting a frenzy among us for this type of equipment. Designed by Sir Clive Sinclair’s team, the machine was distinguished by its characteristic, rubber keyboard with colorful accents, and required plugging in to work TV and cassette recorder. Although in later years the ZX Spectrum was overshadowed by Atari and Commodore products, many users still remember these machines with nostalgia.
The Spectrum, or ZX Spectrum as a console
A unique ZX Spectrum replica has just gone on sale – The Spectrum. Companies are responsible for the creation of this device PLAION and Retro Games. The Spectrum is a modern version of the ZX Spectrum that retains original computer designbut at the same time uses today’s technologies. The creators of the device want to trigger us a note of nostalgia.

The Spectrum is the first to faithfully reproduce the ZX Spectrum 48k design, while also including 48 pre-installed gamesincluding popular titles Fairlight, Manic Miner, Horace Goes Skiing, Saboteur and The Hobbit. Device emulates all ZX Spectrum models from 16k to 128k and offers officially licensed gameswhich can be played with just the keys just like the originals. There is also a possibility adding your own games by players using USB memory. The Spectrum also brings some interesting accessibility features like rewinding the game by 40 seconds and four save slots per title.

Users of The Spectrum also get a feature control mappings in each gameavailable from the themed UI, and an option old-school CRT filterto recreate images from old TVs. The console is equipped with HDMI 720 HD output up to 60 Hz, it also has four USB ports. The device is compatible with a variety of devices, new and old, original and those created by third-party companies controllers and joysticks.

The Spectrum is now available in electronics stores. The price of the console is PLN 429.90. It is worth choosing an atmospheric controller from Retro Games for PLN 109 for the device.
