ZUS is preparing a groundbreaking change. It concerns all Poles
The Social Insurance Institution has announced an important change. PUE ZUS will become history, and its place will be taken by a new online platform called eZUS.
The ZUS Electronic Services Platform, or PUE ZUS, is the first Polish e-office, which was made available to Poles in 2012. If you have ever used it, you know very well that its interface did not meet current standards. It is complicated and archaic. This is because it has undergone virtually no change in 12 years. Until now.
eZUS instead of PUE ZUS
The Social Insurance Institution has announced that all e-office users will soon be able to use the new version of the online platform. PUE ZUS will be replaced by eZUS. The first changes will be visible at the beginning of August, when a new method of logging into the system will be introduced.
PUE ZUS requires major, fundamental changes. That is why ZUS is working on modernizing the portal. Ultimately, the system will have simple navigation, an intuitive interface and functions adapted to the requirements of various customer groups, including people with special needs. The first changes are planned to be implemented at the beginning of August – in the method of logging into the system.

What will change? Among other things, the e-office interface. It is supposed to be more modern, clearer and, above all, easier to use. The login screen will also change. Security changes will also be introduced, including requiring a password of at least 12 characters, and confirming login with a verification code (SMS or email).
Further changes include a new cookie policy for PUE/eZUS, translation of interface elements into English and Ukrainian, and ensuring WCAG 2.1 standards at level AA in the eZUS area.
PUE ZUS is a system that combines many functions and supports complex processes. Giving them a new look and optimizing the way they work is a huge undertaking. ZUS will implement it gradually. Firstly, because the system must be constantly available to users and must work correctly, and at the same time be safe and efficient. It must also be constantly adapted to changes in legal regulations, and these changes always have the highest priority. Work on the appearance and convenient use of PUE must be planned so that customers can use ZUS services without any problems.
