Zotac Zone. This is the specification of the new console
Zotac is another company looking to enter the Windows portable console market. The Zotac Zone model will be presented in a few days, but we have already learned almost the full specification.
Zotac Zone will be the next portable console, which will compete for gamers' wallets with Steam Deck, ASUS ROG Ally, MSI Claw and Lenovo Legion Go. The presentation of the device should take place at the upcoming Computex 2024 fair, but in fact it won't tell us much new, because we already know the detailed specifications of the device.
Zotac Zone Specifications
Zotac Zone does not surprise with its specifications. It is very similar to what competitive devices offer. First of all, the console will be equipped with a 7-inch AMOLED screen with Full HD resolution. The display has a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a maximum brightness of up to 800 nits. If these data are confirmed in reality, this may be one of the console's strongest points.
The AMD Ryzen 7 8840U system will be responsible for performance, supported by Radeon 780M graphics (15 W TDP standard and 28 W maximum) and 16 GB of LPDDR5X memory. There is also a 512 GB NVMe SSD drive. The 48.5 Wh battery will allow for approximately 75 minutes of gaming away from the charger. In addition, the console will have Hall effect analogs and triggers, a memory card reader and Windows 11.
The price is not known yet. The premiere is scheduled for the third quarter of 2024.
