YouTube says oops. He accidentally deleted some videos and accounts
YouTube accidentally deleted videos or even entire user accounts. The problem has finally been identified and the platform is gradually repairing the damage caused.
YouTube deleted videos and entire accounts by mistake
As reported by 9to5Google, Many YouTube users lost some of their published videos after the last update, or even entire accounts were deleted ordinary users who do not publish anything but use Google services. Even people who paid for YouTube Premium were not spared from the haymaking.
Additionally, YouTube sent the injured users unclear instructions regarding the procedure for possible account recovery. Some people did not have the opportunity to appeal against YouTube’s surprising decision at all.
Google admitted its mistake
We are happy to announce that all channels erroneously deleted due to Spam and Deceptive Practices have been fully restored! This also applies to access to all subscriptions (YouTube TV, YouTube Premium, YouTube Music). We are working to restore the last few videos, thank you for your patience! We know this has been a frustrating experience and we really appreciate your patience while we fix this
– the platform wrote in a statement.
At the same time, YouTube’s support team asks users to stay calm, everything will return to normal soon, do not panic. The update issue has been identified and remediation has been implemented.
