YouTube has new ads. They are supposed to be unblockable
YouTube is testing a new version of ads. These are supposed to be particularly difficult to block with AdBlock plugins.
YouTube does a lot to convince people to either subscribe to Premium or watch ads. The fight continues and users are still finding ways to bypass the site's blockades, but Google hasn't given up yet either. The new ads are designed to be difficult to block.
YouTube is testing new ads
Information about the new ads was provided by the creator of the SponsorBlock application, which is used to skip sponsored blocks in YouTube videos. He revealed that YouTube is testing new ads that are added to videos on the server side. What does this change? Such ads are not a separate entity, but an integral part of the video, and therefore are much more difficult to block.
For now, the new ads are being tested in a small group of users, but it is probably only a matter of time until they are used on a wider scale on the website.. It is difficult to clearly declare that they will be unblockable. Users have proven time and time again that YouTube's restrictions can be bypassed. Will it be the same in this case? It is unknown. New ads will certainly be more difficult to block than the current ones.
