Microsoft announced that one version of Windows 10 will no longer be supported in June this year. If you’re still using it, it’s worth updating.

End of support for Windows 10 21H2

As early as June this year, Microsoft will stop supporting Windows 10 21H2, also known as the November 2021 Update. Exactly from June 11, it will stop receiving any updates, including those related to security. The Redmond-based company recommends all users to download a newer version of the software, which will continue to be supported after this time.

Customers who contact Microsoft Support after this date will be instructed to update their device to the latest version of Windows 10 or upgrade to Windows 11 to maintain support.

– Microsoft informed.

The situation applies to the following versions of Windows 10 21H2:

  • Windows 10 Enterprise 21H2
  • Windows 10 Enterprise multi-session 21H2
  • Windows 10 Education 21H2
  • Windows 10 IoT Enterprise 21H2

It is worth recalling that the Home and Pro editions, most of which are used by ordinary computer users, were no longer supported a year earlier, i.e. in June 2023. If you still use them, it is worth running Windows Update and downloading the newer version. Thanks to this, you will be sure that the system has the latest security patches.
