What is important it does not require additional power supply – just connect the Ethernet cable.
Minisforum S100 is a device with dimensions of 152 x 58 x 19.5 millimeters, which is comparable to a smartphone. What we get here is the processor Intel N100which has 4 cores and 4 threads with timing up to 3.4 GHz and only power consumption 6 W. It completes the whole thing 8 GB RAM type LPDDR5-4800.
In the case of built-in memory, we are talking about bones UFS 2.1 of a capacity 256GB. According to the manufacturer, you can count on up to 850 MB/s for reading and up to 260 MB/s for sequential writing. So it's comparable to cheaper and/or old SSDs, which should be enough for most users.
Despite its small size, we get a lot of connectors here. Talking about USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type C with image transfer function, two USB 3.2 Gen 2 type A and one HDMI 2.0 and RJ-45. The whole is complemented by an illuminated switch and a small Clear CMOS button. As mentioned earlier The Mini PC can be powered using PoE or USB-C.
