Xbox Game Pass Changes: New Packages and Higher Prices

Xbox Game Pass is one of the best subscription services with access to games. The library is very large and grows with new titles every month. In addition, many productions are available immediately on the day of release. However, users will not be happy with the latest changes. First of all, it will be more expensive.

Xbox Game Pass Price Increased

Microsoft has announced that starting July 10, i.e. today, the prices of Xbox Game Pass packages are going up. The change applies to the whole world, including Poland.. The Ultimate package is becoming more expensive from PLN 62.99 per month to PLN 73.99 per month. An increase of PLN 11 means PLN 132 less per year in our wallets. Fortunately, the increase does not apply to the 12-month Game Pass Core package, which will still cost PLN 249. Unfortunately, Xbox PC Game Pass will also become more expensive. Instead of PLN 39.99 per month, we will pay PLN 47.99 for it.

However, this is not the end of the changes. Microsoft has also decided to withdraw Xbox Game Pass for consoles. This will not be available to new users. Old users can still use it, but only if they pay. A break in payments means automatic lack of access to this package. For now, codes for the console version of the service will also work, but after September 18, it can be extended for a maximum of 13 months.

And finally, Microsoft announced that a new, cheapest Xbox Game Pass Standard package will appear in the coming months. It is to cost $14.99 (Polish price unknown) and will provide access to a large library of games. However, its users will not receive new productions immediately on the day of release.
