Windows 11 is getting a massive update this year, known as 24H2. This will be one of the largest packages with changes in history, which will, among other things, introduce a new version of Copiloit, an AI assistant, to the system. However, this time let's focus not on what will be added to the system, but on what will be removed from it.
Windows 11 24H2 says goodbye to these applications
With the update of Windows 11 to version 24H2, several applications will disappear from the system. Microsoft's first victim will be Cortana. This seems completely justified, because the current assistant was not very popular among users, and it will be replaced by Copilot. We can say that Cortana will be replaced with a new, better model.
In addition, applications will also disappear from Windows 11 WordPad (a simplified version of Word, available in Windows systems since version 95), step recorderwhich was used to reproduce the problem and Windows Mixed Reality. At the same time, the HoloLens application will still remain in the system.
As for the above-mentioned applications, we can be sure that they will be removed from the operating system with the Windows 11 24H2 version. However, it cannot be ruled out that the final list will be even longer, after all, Microsoft's software has many unnecessary programs that are used indiscriminately by several people around the world.
