Microsoft apologizes for the problems and is investigating the matter
Among the most common symptoms appear infinite run loops and peripherals not working. In addition, we are talking about blue screens of death (BSOD) and less known, green ones (GSOD). There are also Bitlocker crashes, disappearing Wi-Fi options or problems with the appearance of the system.
Reports indicate that laptop owners are the most affected ASUS TUF A15 (2022) and ASUS ROG Strix G17 (2024). However, failures are not limited to just one manufacturer or the laptops themselves, and on the Internet you can also find people with the same problems on desktop computers.
Microsoft said it is aware of the situation and apologizes for the inconvenience. This update is currently being analyzed. Affected users are advised to uninstall the affected patch “KB5043145” via command line or in recovery mode.
