Windows 11. You can uninstall this program after years
Windows 11 will support 7z and TAR archives. This means that a well-known program may become irrelevant.
No longer installing 7-Zip to access files packed in a 7z archive, but what about zipping the data yourself? Here, too, the iconic 7-Zip program will no longer be needed.
Windows will zip 7z files without any outside help
Windows 11 will soon be able to create 7z and TAR archives from File Explorer. Microsoft has already introduced this feature in the Windows 11 KB5037867 Beta test version. Microsoft described the details on its blog and showed where you can find the new context menu commands.

In addition, Windows 11 has gained native gzip and bzip2 compression support for single files and the ability to change many parameters for creating archives. All of them can be viewed and set in the new compression assistant window.
In this update, Microsoft also introduced new emojis from the Emoji 15.1 project, including nodding, shaking, and broken chain. A brown mushroom will probably come in handy in the fall.
The new features described are available to those enrolled in the Windows Insider program and the Beta channel. It is possible that they are not fully stable yet. They will probably reach a wider audience with the autumn update of Windows 11.
