Windows 11 will show your phone storage in file explorer

Microsoft will take care of Android users – it will be easier
Let's be honest – Windows with Android support is still very good. Connecting an Android phone to a Mac using a USB cable does nothing. Without additional applications and forcing the debugging mode on the phone, we will not get into the device's memory. What's more, iPhone support isn't much better – Apple would love to push all files to its paid clouds.
Microsoft's approach makes much more sense. We have been able to use Android phones for some time now as a wireless camera during video calls under Windows, now there will be one more option in the mobile device manager – “Show mobile device in File Explorer”.
Windows will send to our phone prompt asking for access to files and that's it. No more searching and fiddling around, if we need something from the phone, we go to the memory of the device lying next to it, just like a disk in a computer. Until now, this use of phone memory was only available through third-party applications, now it will simply become a feature of Windows 11 and Android mobile.
