In May 2023, France exceeded the symbolic bar of 100,000 public charging stations. In general, 100 kilometers of autonomy cost between 5 and 16 euros, for a motorway journey.
With data from a study by Avere-France, we can determine the price paid by operators and know their margin. The gross cost of recharging an electric car is 0.39 euro per kWh for a public terminal. This corresponds to 7 euros to drive for 100 kilometers. It should be noted that the tariffs of the various operators depend on one network to another.
An e-bike motor set to revolutionize the industry
The German manufacturer Pinion has presented a new trainer system for e-bikes. Its particularity: it is able to shift gears electronically (9 or 12 gears). He ensures that his engine is reliable, precise and above all instantaneous.
All while delivering a torque of 85 Nm and a maximum power of 600 W. It is lined with sensors that analyze several measurements, for example to know the cadence of pedaling and the speed of the bike. Finally, this engine is said to be semi-automatic: it can choose the gear ratio itself according to your pace. If you don’t want it, you can enable it on startup only, then continue manually.
