The Biedronka chain of stores is a place of many hunts for cheap electronics. Recently, the offer included, for example, the Hykker Bluetooth speaker for PLN 249 or a miniature wine fridge for PLN 499.
However, when shopping there, you have to watch out for pallets blocking the aisles. It is the insect web that is primarily known for such a mess. The Fire Department announces increased inspections for this reason.
Inspections in hypermarkets and discount stores
Karol Kierzkowski, spokesman for the Fire Department, in an interview with Radio ZET, announced that During the pre-Christmas period, the number of inspections in hypermarkets and discount stores will be increased. Firefighters are to check, among other things, the patency of store aisles and the accessibility of escape routes.
According to the Fire Department, pallets with unpacked goods standing on the road are a safety hazardespecially during the pre-Christmas period, when traffic is higher than usual. Firefighters are asked to document such cases and report them to the services. In case of serious violations, penalties may be imposed or even the store may be closed.
