We will still have to wait for new CD Projekt RED games

We have known for a long time that CD Projekt RED is working on several games at the same time. This includes the production we commonly call The Witcher 4, the continuation of Cybperunk 2077, the remake of The Witcher 1, and a completely new IP. It's a pity that we will have to wait for each of them, probably several years.

When will new CD Projekt RED games be released?

Currently, work is underway on three games in the Witcher universe. This is primarily the first installment of a new trilogy, known as Project Polaris. In the case of this title, the studio is in the pre-production stage, so more advanced work should start soon.

The situation is similar with the Sirius Project, which is being developed at The Molasses Flood. In this case, the work was at a more advanced stage, but after a while everything was thrown away and it was necessary to start over. The last game in the world created by Sapkowski is a remake of the first Witcher. Here, Fool's Theory studio is only in the conceptual phase.

In addition, work is also underway on Project Orion, the continuation of Cyberpunk 2077. However, these have barely started and the whole concept is still being developed. Last on the list is a completely new brand with the code name Hadar, but here too the whole concept is still being developed.

CD Projekt RED also boasted about last year's results. In 2023, the entire Witcher series exceeded 75 million copies sold. In turn, the expansion for Cyberpunk 2077 was purchased for 5 million, while the base game reached 20 million.
