we now know everything about their batteries
An obligatory stage in their development, the Galaxy S24s see their various components gradually being certified by regulatory agencies. This allows us this week to learn more about the batteries of the next Samsung flagships.
Samsung has passed the batteries of its future Galaxy S24, S24 Plus and S24 Ultra in front of one of the South Korean regulatory bodies. The opportunity to find out more about the capacity of those that will equip the Korean giant’s flagships in a few months… and to note that the Galaxy S24 Plus will probably have a larger battery than its predecessor.
In detail, the registers of the regulatory agency Safety Korea, consulted by SamMobile, allow us to see the batteries of the three devices in person, but also to know their respective references: EB-BS922ABY (for the Galaxy S24), EB-BS926ABY (for the Galaxy S24 Plus), and EB-BS928ABY (for the Galaxy S24 Ultra). We also learn that these three accumulators are manufactured by the Chinese ATL (Amperex Technologies Limited).
We now know the capacities of the S24 Plus and Ultra
In the absence of being able to take note of the expected capacity on the battery of the Galaxy S24 “Classic” (at least for the moment), these documents inform us about the capacities of the future Galaxy S24 Plus and S24 Ultra. In this case, the battery of the first has been certified for 4755 mAh, while that of the second is displayed at 4855 mAh by the regulatory body. As pointed out SamMobiletheir final capacity, however, should be 4900 and 5000 mAh.

This would be good news for the Galaxy S24 Plus, since the current Galaxy S23 Plus, for its part, is content with a 4700 mAh battery. We can therefore imagine that it will enjoy better autonomy than its predecessor. For the Galaxy S24 Ultra, however, we should not enjoy any big changes since the S23 Ultra already has a large 5000 mAh battery.
Last point, the photos show batteries equipped with a blue or green self-adhesive film. This is the device that allows you to attach the battery to the phone’s frame, but also to take it off more easily. This system, which is already found on the Galaxy S23, quite simply makes it easier to remove and replace the batteries.
