Electricity is a subject that has kept us all very busy lately. The new Anker portable battery solutions will surely meet many needs, whether you are indoors or outdoors.
Anker Solix is the subsidiary of Anker specializing in energy. It brings together all storage and energy production activities, excluding smartphone accessories. IFA 2023 is an opportunity for the new brand to present two new portable batteries, to no longer risk being without power, in the middle of nowhere or at home on a power outage day.
kWh of not knowing what to do with it
Anker Solix has just unveiled two new portable power stations and we start with the Anker Solix C1000. It can store up to 1,056 kWh of energy and this in a new design that the brand announces is 15% more compact than the market average, for equal capacity. This makes it easier to stack several to increase capacity.
A new heat dissipation system is present to ensure the safety of the system whether you are at home or outdoors. The C1000 fully recharges in just 58 minutes if connected to a 1,300 W wall outlet. It is also possible to recharge it with folding solar panels (maximum power of 600 W) in 1.8 hours. This last point being very theoretical… The Anker Solix C1000 will be available in the last quarter of 2023 at a price of €1,199.
The Anker Solix F3800 is a model on wheels which, despite its generous dimensions, can be moved very easily. With a capacity of 3.84 kWh, it is designed to protect your computer installation from power outages, for example, or other systems important to you. Like the entire Solix range, it is designed to accept extensions to increase its capacity up to 26.88 kWh with up to six additional batteries.
The icing on the cake is the possibility of associating it with a transfer switch (optional) to take over automatically in the event of a power outage. It charges to over 80% in less than two hours from a wall outlet, 1.5 hours using the 2400W solar input, which again is very optimistic in a real-world situation. Its price and availability are not yet known.
