Turn on Google Maps now. You will be very surprised

If you use the Google Maps app on Android, you may be a little surprised by the latest version. Not immediately, because the main screen has not changed, but after going to the settings, which have been significantly tidied up.

The problem with the settings in the Google Maps app was that they were several years old. During this time, new functions and options were added, which ultimately resulted in quite a mess. Fortunately, Google finally decided to sort it out. Now the settings are divided into 7 main sections:

Interestingly, individual tabs were treated differently. Some have been changed and are a bit more organized, while others have remained in the form in which they were previously available.

The change is available, among others, in Google Maps version 25.49. It is not widely available for now. The update is implemented on the server side.
