TikTok, in cooperation with the eCommerce platform Shopify, shortens the distance between the product and the customer. From now on, it will be possible to purchase products directly while watching a video. The platform does not charge any fees for this.

Although some people mock the nature of the content available on TikTok, none of the digital platforms has recently been growing as dynamically. That’s it over 1 billion users every month — only Instagram (1.4 billion), YouTube (2.2 billion) and Facebook (2.9 billion) are larger. This gigantic community, which is largely focused on influencers who build purchasing needs, has just undergone a significant implementation that will allow for even better and easier monetization of content.

Shopify on TikTok at no additional cost

From now on, TikTok users will be able to connect your Shopify store to TikTok Shop. Thanks to this integration, it will be possible to sell products through videos both in the content stream (feed) and directly during live broadcasts.

Just for intermediation in the sale TikTok will not charge additional fees, as well as for synchronizing the product catalog. However, the platform will also offer the possibility of running paid campaigns. The service has just launched in the UK, and its implementation in other countries is only a matter of time.
