This Windows update was supposed to fix the others, but it doesn’t work
Microsoft released an update to Windows 10 that was intended to improve future updates. It’s a pity that many users cannot install it due to an error.

As if that wasn’t enough, after entering the details, the update is marked as “October 2023 update”, but in fact it was released only in March 2024. This turns out to be the cause of the problems. The error only appears in people who have installed the October patches. If you haven’t done this, the update will install without any problem.
How to solve this problem? Just uninstall the KB5001716 update (yes, they are both marked the same) and then repeat the process. Then both the October fixes and the patch for future updates will be installed. To do this, you need to go to settings, applications, and then look for “Update for Windows 10 for x64-based Systems (KB5001716)” in the list.
