This show broke the bank. It got the most nominations in history

The Bear series has hit the jackpot. It has just received 24 Emmy nominations. We have three seasons to watch. If you haven’t seen it yet, you have a reason to watch it.

When it comes to film awards, there’s always a season of them and a festival somewhere. In the US, the nominations for this year’s Emmy Awards have just been announced. In 2024, the ceremony will take place on Sunday, September 15.

More toxic than in Magda Gessler’s programs

One of the biggest winners at this stage (i.e. the nomination stage) is the series The Bear. A series set in the kitchen of a family restaurant in Chicago. Will it win the coveted Michelin Star? It tells the story of Carmy (Jeremy Allen White), all the while revealing the layers of his complex personality. The biggest secret of the production is the character’s mental condition. The series has been breaking all awards records for some time now. But its second season received 24 nominations. That’s worth noting.

This is great news for FX, which produced the series, and for Disney + platform, where you can currently watch three seasons of The Bear.

Of course, we encourage you to watch the whole thing, although it is worth noting that the third season is probably the most controversial. The series’ great asset is short episodes that encourage you to watch another one. It’s really hard to resist the temptation and before you know it, you’ll finish season after season. It’s not a series that will make everyone laugh to the same degree. It also happens that the action loses pace from time to time, but the fast-paced work in the restaurant and the ever-increasing tensions between the characters make up for everything and it’s hard to break away from the series. Critics agree on one thing – The Bear, while having funny moments, shouldn’t be classified as a comedy at all. And yet, it received the most nominations in comedy categories.
