Good specification, white colors and lighting increasing immersion in games, films and series. This is exactly what Philips offers with its new model from the Evnia series.
What should characterize a good one? monitor for gamers? Contrary to appearances, the answer to this question is not simple at all. However, the most important parameters include resolution, refresh rate and diagonal. And it so happens that Philips presented an interesting model at an affordable price.
Philips’ ace up its sleeve is the Ambiglow backlight
Philips Evnia 34M2C5501A is a widescreen monitor with a diagonal 34″. We are dealing here with a 10-bit curved matrix (1500R) type FastVA about resolution 3440 x 1440 pixels and refresh rate up to 180 Hz. The GtG reaction time is 1 msstatic contrast 4000:1and typical brightness 300 cd/m2.
The manufacturer boasts good color reproduction at 126% for the sRGB palette and 105% for NTSC. There was also a certificate VESA DisplayHDR 400but at this brightness it will only provide basic HDR support. Gamers will be more pleased with the image synchronization technology VESA Adaptive-Sync.
The I/O panel offers us two HDMI 2.0, one DisplayPort 1.4, a USB hub and a headphone connector. They complete it built-in speakers (2x 5 W), height and tilt adjustable base and three-zone Ambiglow lightingincreasing immersion when playing and watching movies and series.
