ASRocka well-known manufacturer of computer equipment, announced the launch of nineteen new power supplies. They are divided into four series: Taichi, Phantom Gaming, Steel Legend and Challenger. They vary in power and specifications, offering users a wide choice depending on their needs.
Seasonic platforms were used here
Almost all models use the standard ATX 3.1 and PCIe 5.1offering cables 12V-2×6 equipped with two-color plugs, just like MSI. This makes it easier to press the cable correctly and minimizes user error. The exception is the most budget series.
The highest shelf in the Taiwanese offer is the series Taichi. We get fitness certificates here 80 PLUS Titanium and Cybenetics Titanium. Powerful models are currently available in this series 1300 W and 1650 Wboth with dual 12V-2×6 connectors and modular cabling. They use Japanese capacitors and transistors Infineon CoolMOS and diodes SIC SBDand the manufacturer grants them 10-year warranty.

Phantom Gaming is a family aimed at gamers, offering fully modular power supplies 750 W, 850 W, 1000W, 1300 W and 1600 W. They have certificates 80 PLUS Gold and Cybenetics from Platinum to Goldincluding an acoustic rating of A. There was, of course, no shortage semi-passive operation mode with switch on the back of the housing. Like the Taichi series, these power supplies offer a 10-year warranty.
Series Steel Legend is a more mainstream option, available in black and white. Again, we are talking about efficiency confirmed by a certificate 80 PLUS Gold and Cybenetics Platinum and Gold. Models are available 650 W, 750 W, 850 W and 1000W. There are also Japanese capacitors and modular ribbon cabling. Once again we get a 10-year warranty.

The cheapest option is family Challengerand the platform uses an older specification ATX 2.52. This means no Cybenetics certification, but there are plenty of awards 80 PLUS Bronze and Gold (indicated by the prefixes B and G respectively in the model number). These are non-modular units. We have powerful variants to choose from 500W, 650W, 750W and 850Wand the manufacturer provides us 5 years warranty.
The described power supplies will go on sale in the coming weeks. Suggested prices have not been revealed, but looking at the specifications it probably won’t be cheap. All that remains is to wait for the first independent tests.
