This is how much Poles earn. You are at the gray end of Europe
I don’t think anyone has any doubts that despite the growing GDP and promotion to the twenty largest economies in the world, Poles still earn relatively little. This is perfectly demonstrated by the ranking of European Union countries, where we are at the bottom.
A Pole earns an average of EUR 1,350 net per month, which translates into approximately PLN 6,280. This is definitely below the EU average, which was EUR 2,120, or PLN 8,900, in January. Only residents of 7 countries earn worse than us: Bulgaria, Hungary, Romania, Slovakia, Greece, Latvia and Croatia.
Among the 27 countries in the ranking, Poland ranks only 20th. Even Lithuania, the Czech Republic and Estonia are ahead of us, which only shows that we still have a lot to catch up in terms of earnings. the full list is as follows:
