Lenovo Legion Go 2 in new photos

Evan Blass, a well-known mobile equipment leaker, revealed on the X platform photos of the new Lenovo Legion Go gaming handheld, which will probably be called Lenovo Legion Go 2. This is yet another device than the Lenovo Legion Go S revealed on December 6.

Blass did not provide any specifications for the Lenovo Legion Go 2, but the published photos show that the manufacturer used an OLED displaywhich would replace the IPS LCD panel used in its predecessor. This means better color reproduction, contrast and black, as well as faster dot response time. Legion Go 2 would retain the trademark that they are detachable controllers (just like on Nintendo Switch).

Lenovo Legion Go 2 will also have FPS modein which the right controller can be placed vertically on a flat surface and imitate the behavior of a mouse. It seems that the manufacturer has improved the ergonomics of this solutionimproving the comfort of the mouse buttons on the right side of the controller and the charging port cover to avoid contact with the hand.

When it comes to APU chip used in Legion Go 2we don’t officially know what exactly Lenovo focused on, but it is possible that it will be the new AMD Z2 Extreme chip.

Finally, it is worth emphasizing that there is no dedicated Steam button visible in Blass’s photoswhich may suggest that Lenovo will release devices based on both Windows and SteamOS.
