This could be a breakthrough. A PC that won’t make any sound
Computers are noisy because their efficient components require proper cooling. This relies on fans, which the faster they spin, the louder they become. However, a small revolution may be coming in this regard.

Creating an efficient yet quiet computer is extremely difficult. This applies to both desktops and laptops. This is because components with high computing power, despite constant progress, still generate large amounts of heat.
It is true that there are passive cooling systems, but they are not efficient enough to effectively dissipate heat from the CPU or GPU. Therefore, manufacturers even have to use fans that make noise. However, a small revolution is brewing in this matter.
The computer is as quiet as a mouse under a broom
FanlessTech reports that next week one of the large computer manufacturers is to present a new model that will be as quiet as a mouse under the broom. The device is to be based entirely on passive cooling, which in theory does not make any sounds because it has no moving parts. What’s more, it won’t be a weak computer at all, because it will use a processor with a TDP of 65 W.

We don’t know what exact processor it is, but the information included a photo of Ryzen. The Ryzen 9000 series models are out, because although they were initially limited to 65 W, over time they were unlocked up to 105 W, which improved their performance. It is possible that it is a Ryzen 8000G series chip, which is not as powerful as in gaming desktops, but still very solid.
Of course, there is no shortage of computers with passive cooling on the market. However, these are small computers based on slow Intel processors. It’s supposed to be different here.
