If you are a Netflix user and you have just received such an email, we hope that you did not immediately rush to fill out the form, but the first thing that happened was that “an alarm light went off in your head”. The fraudsters decided to impersonate a popular streaming platform again and extort some money from its users.

We would like to remind you that today is the last day to update your payment information. We encourage you to update to enjoy full access to our library.

– this is what we read in the e-mail sent to us by the alleged Netflix.

The email, of course, directs us to a fake form that, to the delight of fraudsters, collects our valuable data. It is better to ignore this type of email and not panic about the need to quickly update your data. It is also worth warning your friends and family against this type of phishing campaign. It’s better to take care of the contents of your wallet personally and not get robbed in a brazen way.

Scammers are just waiting for us to fall for them. The link leads to a dangerous website that steals our personal data and payment card information. Let’s always check the addresses of the websites we visit or are redirected to.
