They asked NASA for help in searching for… the Loch Ness Monster

This year marks 90 years since the first search for the mysterious Loch Ness Monster. The local institution is currently organizing the next one, and wants to use the American space agency to help.

The search for the famous Loch Ness Monster is scheduled for May 30, Sky News reported. For three days, the gathered volunteers will have the task of observing the surface of a Scottish lake, looking for unusual movements in the water. The event is organized by the local Loch Ness Center in Drumnadrochit.

Will it work this time?

We're counting on Nessie hunters around the world to help us reach people at NASA. We hope to reach them through the power of social media. We went to British universities. We hope that NASA experts may have advanced imaging technology to scan the lake.

– said Aimee Todd from the Loch Ness Centre.

The first expedition in search of the mysterious monster was organized in 1934 by Edward Mountain. Since then, in the official registry containing information on alleged evidence of the existence of the creature over 1,100 entries were recorded.

The scientific evidence is worse confirming the presence of a monster, because these are not there at all. At the same time, the existence of the alleged monster could not be completely ruled out, which Nessie fans welcomed with great joy. Many of them, however, ignore the fact that the famous photo of the monster was actually real fraud on the part of the creator of the photo.
