Are you not afraid of risk? Do you care about the lowest possible processor temperatures? Then it is worth taking an interest in the new Thermal Grizzly equipment.
On the computer components market, you can choose from many different CPU coolers. However, enthusiasts know very well that the most efficient and quietest are proprietary liquid cooling systems. It is not cheap or easy fun. However, a good LC set leaves air or AiO proposals far behind.
The suggested price is around 550 PLN.
But what if something even better could be offered? This is the question asked by the German Thermal Grizzlyand the answer is Intel Mycro Direct-Die RGB PRO V1. We are talking about a water block designed with direct cooling of the silicon processor core.
The device measures 70 x 53 x 25 millimeters and weighs 205 grams. It is made of acrylic, aluminum and nickel-plated copper and is equipped with two G1/4″ holes. It is compatible with the socket LGA1700so processors Intel Core 12, 13 and 14 generation. Removal of IHS (metal heat sink) is required.
The interior has been redesigned and the width of the micro-channels for liquids has been changed, increasing the heat dissipation surface by as much as 43%. Intel Mycro Direct-Die RGB PRO V1 thus provides up to 6°C lower CPU temperatures than the base model. There is also no problem with the use of liquid metal.
The described solution is already available for sale on the manufacturer’s website. The price is 129 euros, which is about 550 zlotys. That’s a lot, but it’s worth remembering that we’re talking about a fairly niche solution. What’s more design, production and packaging takes place in Germanywhich increases costs compared to the Chinese competition.
