Thermal Grizzly Brings a New Thing to PC Enthusiasts
Do you like high performance and low temperatures? Are you annoyed by frequent thermal paste changes? No problem, Thermal Grizzly is here to help.
At the beginning of June during the fair Computex 2024 Manufacturers from all over the world boasted about their new products. In Taiwan, there was also a German company Thermal Grizzlywhich is known for its CPU and GPU cooling products aimed at enthusiasts.
The suggested price for a 50 x 40 mm sheet is approx. PLN 42.99
One of the novelties presented by the Germans was PhaseSheet PTMor special thermopads. We are talking about a solution that changes consistency from solid to liquid, depending on the temperature. This ensures easy application and prevents the so-called pumping phenomenon, translating into the lack of the need for frequent replacement.
Of course, as the name suggests, it is nothing more than the one used industrially and by the greatest enthusiasts. Honeywell PTM7950. Thermal Grizzly does not hide this, quite the opposite. The Germans simply want to make the solution available to a wider audience.
Honeywell does not offer retail sales, so enthusiasts were forced to buy from high-markup specialist stores or buy from Chinese vendors who often counterfeit the PTM 7950.
For balance, the Thermal Grizzly PhaseSheet PTM costs 9.90 euros (approx. 42.99 PLN) for a 50 x 40 mm sheet, sufficient to cover any consumer AMD or Intel processor and graphics card cores. The manufacturer emphasizes that full efficiency is achieved after 10 heating cycles to 60°C.
