A series based on the cult Alien films is coming. We’ve learned the title and the first details about the new production.
If you like horror or science-fiction films – and especially science-fiction horror films – you probably know the titles from the series Stranger. Starting with the original hit in 1979, the series has grown into a true cult, in many ways setting new standards for this type of production. Now, xenomorphs will scare us in the new series.
Alien: Earth is a new series on FX
As reported Varietyphotos for the new channel production FX have been completed and the material has gone into post-production. We also learned the title of the series – Alien: Earth.
The production is to be a prequel to the original Ridley Scott film. As announced John Langraf, FX CEO, we can expect at least two seasons of the series – of course, if it is warmly received by the audience.
It’s worth noting that this isn’t the only new thing that Alien fans can look forward to. Alongside the series, there’s also a new movie in the works called Alien: Romulus. This one should hit cinemas yet summer 2024.
