The Game Awards 2024 ended with a big surprise. CD Projekt RED showed the first cinematic trailer of The Witcher 4 without any announcements. Although the creators said it was a completely new trilogy, now we can officially say that the production is called that – The Witcher IV.
The Witcher 4 movie trailer
Unfortunately, the trailer does not reveal when the game would debut. We also didn’t see any gameplay footage. Similarly to the third part, we are dealing here with a film trailer that does not say much about the plot. However, one thing turned out to be clear. We know who will be the main character of the production.
The trailer shows that Ciri will be the main character of The Witcher 4. The material shows that she is much older than at the end of the third part. Fans have doubts about the fact that the heroine can drink witcher potions and use signs, which would mean that she has passed the grass test. This will require some explanation.
